CAIT CLARKE
Catherine Clarke, co-author of DARE TO ASK: THE WOMAN’S GUIDEBOOK TO SUCCESSFUL NEGOTIATING, is an experienced leadership and negotiation consultant whose clients have included Fortune 500 companies and distinguished international organizations.
An attorney by profession, she serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives at the National Legal Aid & Defender Association. Previously she was Director of Public Interest Law Opportunities at Equal Justice Works where she managed the country’s largest legal fellowship program.
The fifth of six children, Cait grew up in Washington, D.C. where she resides with her husband, the writer Neil Shister, and seven year old son William.
NEIL SHISTER
Neil Shister is a journalist who has served as a correspondent with Time Magazine, television critic for The Miami Herald, editor of Atlanta Magazine, and Vice President/Marketing for Inc. Magazine Business Resources. Additionally he has been Senior Vice President with the global public relations company Hill & Knowlton and editorial director of World Trade Magazine.
He is the author of The Ten Minute Guide to Negotiating, published by Macmillan. The book, which ranked oamong Amazon.com’s Top 50 Business Negotiation Titles, has been translated into several foreign editions.
In addition to his son William, he has two daughters.
